There are usually posted guidelines, but if not, an editor will let you know what's acceptable and what's not. <br /><br />In any case, if you're ever unsure, it's best to be honest about it. He said he did accept. Only stipulation was that if story was selected for inclusion, then I had to go back and delete it from my blog.<br /><br />There is nothing "ethically" wrong with expanding a story that appeared as your flash.
